Do not use this company. They didn’t bring me a sign to put in my yard for two weeks. My home was not adequately secure from the start, so they had to come back and several times and try to fix it. They “accidentally” charged $99 to my account and wanted me to send them a copy of my statement to prove to them that they had done it. They ended up crediting it back to my account.
Just yesterday, they charged another $45 to my account that they admit shouldn’t have been done. I have to wait several weeks for a check for that mistake. I purposely set off my alarm today and let it go until it turned itself off. The technician is here now saying that the signal to the cell tower in my home is not strong enough. Yippee! Maybe I can get out of my contract with them because of this. I won’t hold my breath.

I just recently quit my job at Pinnacle Security. The whole company has the worst management I’ve ever seen, right down to their particular branch managers. The salesmen have to resort to lies, half-truths, and cover-ups just to break even with the debt they have to Pinnacle because of all the hidden charges the company puts on the reps. The system is average at best. The prices are easily 13 to 20 dollars more than the average person pays for home security. Making a profit on top of that is extremely difficult. It is no wonder the service is horrible. i once had a problem with my payroll, and the person who was responsible for that back at corporate didn’t answer my calls for a week. Within the first month of the summer term, our branch had 10 guys quit because of payroll problems. I’m sorry if me or anyone I know directly has caused you any inconvenience. To everyone else out there, dealing with the Pinnacle Door-To-Door Sales Representatives like I was: the best objection is shutting the door.

We occasionally refer customers to Pinnacle security because we are not a national company. The experience Alan Smithee has said to have had is not typical. Pinnacle is a relatively new company that experienced growth at alarming speeds. It is reasonable to expect certain delays as typical for a growing company. Things will get better as they begin to “settle” in their position as one of the largest security companies

I used to work for Pinnacle. When I was being recruited, the CEO spoke to a big group of us at on of the Pinnacle offices and spoke about integrity, family, and hard work.
I was sold.
My manager that recruited me promised a lot of things before I signed and throughout the summer that he never came through with. In fact, at the end of my time, when I was consulting the corporate office about his promises, I was told that my manager has denied everything I was claiming.
I guess I shouldn’t be too surprised. My office manager, the manager I refer to, was an amazing salesman but a terrible manager. Nearly 25 people in our office left mid-summer. Our regional manager (the one above our office manager) came to “train” us once and taught us the delicate ways of getting around the truth and having people sign up without their definite cognizance.
Now I don’t think everyone is like this in the company, and I don’t make a blanket statement about Pinnacle, but this was my experience.
If you buy from them or work for them, make sure you do your homework and ready EVERY word of your contract. If you make deals on the side with people, make sure to ALWAYS GET IT IN WRITING.

I have had Pinnacle for about 6 months, and have had none of the problems described here. Every time the power goes out, I receive an immediate call from Pinnacle. I have yet to have an alarm go off, but I did take the batteries out of my smoke detector, only to set the whole system off and get 2 calls from Pinnacle regarding the smoke detector. I find that it is a bit expensive, but I enjoy the online monitoring and the comfort of knowing my house is locked up tight. I have nothing but good things to say at this point. I just hope they keep up the level of care.

Flat out-they suck!!! We have had the system for 9 months now and nothing but problems. We have never been alerted when we have power outages, which is often. The salesman lied to us-and we signed up based on those lies. Only to have Pinnacle not honor anything the sales rep told us. I was counting down the days until our 1 year contract ends (the sales rep told us we could cancel at any time!!) and I just received a call today from them telling us they made a mistake, its not a 1 year contract, but a 3 year contract!!! I cinstantly get conflicting info regarding our account and no one seems to care what anyone else from their company has told me. I get calls and notices saying our account is past due when they have been paid. They are unorganized liars, scammers, unethical, immoral scum!!
